International applicants: supporting documents due by March 15

If you’re an international applicant, the deadline to submit your supporting documents is March 15.

As part of UBC’s admission process, you are required to submit your transcript and/or grade information. Although you have completed an online application, we may still require documents from you to assess your application.

Deadline for submitting evidence of your English-language proficiency: March 15

All prospective students are required to demonstrate a minimum level of English before they’re admitted. Check the status of your application on your Student Service Centre to double check whether you need to submit evidence of your English language proficiency – the deadline for this is also March 15. 1. Hi, there. I am wodering if the supplementary Application is mandatory procedure to apply and or get an admission of the Applied Science (Mechanical Engering) as a first year international student. What is the supplementary Application?

    Thank you.

    1. Hello Edward,

Admission to UBC is based on a combination of academic performance and an assessment of your Personal Profile so you will need to complete that portion of the application in order to be considered for admission to the university. The Personal Profile gives you the opportunity to tell UBC about the things that are important to you, your significant achievements, what you have learned from your experiences, and challenges that you’ve overcome. To learn more about completing the Personal Profile, we recommend you watch this brief UBC video at http://youtu.be/aI-VY0Tph50. 4. Hello, I applied to UBC as an international student and got accepted. However, I am not sure how my classes translate into the requirements. Does UBC only offer admissions to students who fulfill the requirements or do they evaluate whether students have fulfill the required classes after they send in the final grades?

    Thank you!
