In the Finance program, you will study the following areas: corporate finance, securities and investment management, money and banking, and international finance. The program provides broad professional competency for those of you entering management positions in financial departments of business enterprises, investment management and services, banking, financial institutions, or government agencies concerned with private finance.

Campus features

The UBC Portfolio Management Foundation is unique in Canada. This small, highly competitive program gives students the opportunity to begin as researchers and move on to manage a $3 million CAD portfolio. An internship program provides paid work experience for 3rd year Finance students. The Sauder School of Business also offers Commerce-specific exchange programs and summer programs in Shanghai and Europe.
