UBC’s medical school offers one of Canada’s premier programs in medicine, and entry is correspondingly highly competitive. The MD program is offered through four sites, based in Vancouver, Kelowna, Victoria, and Prince George. The Vancouver Fraser Medical Program is based in Vancouver.

You can apply for entry to Medicine after a minimum of three years (90 credits) of approved post-secondary study. Entry is restricted to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.

Campus features

Facilities for teaching medicine in Vancouver include three teaching hospitals and the Life Sciences Centre, the largest building on UBC’s Vancouver campus.
