Students enrolled in this pathway will learn to teach children in elementary grades (Kindergarten to Grade 6). The Bachelor of Education program offers extensive practical experience both inside and outside the classroom setting, including: two school-based practicums; community field experience; a 15-week internship; and many place-based learning opportunities. Join our community and engage in collaborative learning with instructors, classmates, practising educators, and community partners. You will graduate with a globally recognized UBC Bachelor of Education degree that is highly sought after by employers locally, nationally, and internationally.
Community-based field experience offers you the chance to broaden your understanding of education environments and experience opportunities outside the classroom setting.
You will be part of a community of practising educators who are engaged in ongoing professional learning and come from diverse school and community sites across disciplines and interests. The annual Scholar-Practitioner Conference promotes connections and insights among participants.Send Details
