International Student Guides

For more information about being an international student, including applying for a study permit, visit our International Student Guides.

The study permit concierge services are designed to assist with routine study permit applications, and they do not cover every situation. Some immigration matters need to be supported by a lawyer or specialized immigration consultant. For these more complex cases, UBC can provide recommendations for lawyers or immigration consultants who can assist you. However, this assistance would come at your own expense.

Note that once you become a UBC student, UBC offers extensive international student services to support you, including study permit related services.

Please note:

The study permit concierge services are being offered to you by UBC for informational and support purposes only. These services are facilitated through third-party consultants and professionals who are completely independent of UBC. While we aim to assist you in navigating the study permit application process, the final responsibility for submitting applications, meeting immigration requirements, and ensuring compliance with IRCC regulations remains with you. Any guidance or support received from third-party professionals is subject to their terms and conditions, and UBC does not guarantee the quality of the advice they provide. UBC is not liable for any decisions, delays, or outcomes related to study permit applications, even if you follow the advice of third-party professionals. You are encouraged to verify information directly with IRCC and seek additional licensed immigration advice at your own expense if needed.
