Arriving by air
If you arrive at the Kelowna International Airport (YLW) after 4:00 pm on Friday, May 10, a friendly Destination UBC Peer Leader will be at the baggage claim to meet you, introduce you to other students, and connect you with a shuttle to campus. If you arrive outside of this time period, you can take a taxi to the Purcell Residence on campus for roughly $10.
If you experience any significant delays such as missed flights, please contact Anthony Dodds at 250-469-3526 by text or phone immediately so we can make alternate arrangements.
Arriving by car
When you arrive on campus, park in the “F” lot – the lot closest to the Purcell Residence, as indicated on the map provided. You will then meet with a helpful Destination UBC Leader in the Purcell Lounge who will give you directions to where you’ll be staying and where you can park for the weekend, if necessary. Please note that UBC will not be covering your parking costs (approx. $8/day).
