Awards for students with disabilities

UBC is committed to creating a welcoming and accessible community where all students can participate fully and are supported in realizing their potential. To that end, we provide over 20 awards to students with disabilities. These awards range in value and eligibility criteria. A complete list of these awards is available on the application form.

Are you eligible?

To be eligible, you must:

Be a student with a disability and provide supporting documentation where required
Demonstrate financial need by fully answering all questions in the application (for bursaries)

How do you apply?

Between August and September, applications are available on the Awards for students with disabilities page. You may need to provide supporting documentation in some cases.

When is the deadline?

The deadline to apply is September 15. If you’re successful, you’ll hear from us by late November.
