Campus tours at UBC Okanagan

Your guided walking tour of our Okanagan campus will last 1.5 hours and be led by one of our friendly and knowledgeable student ambassadors. You’ll have a chance to:

  • Visit a residence, a library, and some recreational and social facilities.
  • Learn more about all of the on-campus services available to students.

After the tour, an advisor will be available to answer your questions about UBC’s undergraduate degrees and programs, admissions, scholarship opportunities, and more!

Groups and schools

 

Group tours at UBC Okanagan

UBC’s group tours last 1.5 hour, including a 15-minute information session with an advisor and a 75-minute walking tour led by a friendly and knowledgeable student ambassador. All tours are conducted in English, so a moderate level of English comprehension is necessary.

When to organize a group tour

  • You are organizing a tour for high school students (Grades 10 to 12) or students in a post-secondary transfer program.
  • There are up to 50 people in your group.

How to organize a group tour

  • Choose a preferred date for your tour.
  • Submit your tour request at least 3 weeks in advance with a list of participants, including first names, last names, and email addresses.
  • Ensure you have 1 adult supervisor (teacher, counsellor, or parent) available for every 15 students.

Are you part of an Aboriginal group?

UBC’s Aboriginal group tours are led by friendly and knowledgeable Aboriginal ambassadors. In addition to visiting key spots on campus, you’ll have a chance to explore dedicated spaces, services, and resources available to Aboriginal students at UBC. If you’re interested, we can also an Aboriginal student advising session and a chance to connect with Aboriginal Programs and Services.
